Sea Otter kicked my ass

A couple of weeks ago was the traditional season opener, “Sea Otter Classic” at Laguna Seca, Monterey CA. I flew down to cover the event for UK-based bike website bikemagic.com, and quickly realised the magnitude of the task ahead of me; a full schedule of races combined with product launches and demos meant 4 days of running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything in. By the time Monday had rolled around I’d managed to exhaust myself enough to give myself not only a chest infection, but an ear infection to boot. Whoever said this job would be easy was lying… wait, what do you mean “no one said that?”. Still, I scored a bunch of images I’m happy with, and got to hang out with friends new and old, can’t really ask for more than that.
