Tripod for sale
Posted : February 1st 2008If anyone’s in the market for a cheap, basic tripod and ball-head, give me a shout. I’m just in the process of replacing my current setup with something a little lighter and more sturdy to handle the long glass I’ve been using recently, and don’t need two.
It’s a basic “Cameron” 3-section tripod with cheap ball-head; I’m not going to lie to you, it’s not the best quality in the world, but it does the job unless you’re slinging around heavy lenses like a 300mm f/2.8. There’s wear on the quick-release plate and both adjustment knobs came loose so have tape under them to keep them snug. So all-in-all a slightly shitty tripod in slightly shitty condition.
“So what’s the benefit,” you ask? “Price”, I reply. I only want $70 for it, so add in shipping and money fees and you can get this ‘beauty’ for less than a tank of gas (and perhaps a coffee and mars bar). Here’s some pictures to get your spendy-juices flowing:

Oh, the middle column converts into a monopod too. Bonus!

Dan, is your tripod still up for sale?
Yup, it’s still hanging around, looking lonely and needing a good home. Shoot me an e-mail if you’re interested.
